Then, after walking all the way through the station with my luggage, we took a cab from the train station to Harrah's casino. We then had to lug our bags from one side of the train station to the other to wait 1 hour for the NJ Transit train. We had to wait 20 mins for the Septa train. And trying to line up your flight time then taking a $30-$50 cab ride to find one of those 'free' casino buses, will be an act of futility.

Once your are in AC, there are plenty of cheap cabs and little buses called Jitneys that are $2. Atlantic City is a walking city, not a driving around city. There's no need to jump through hoops, take 3 hours, or rent a car to a city where you have to pay for parking and where a rental car is more of a hindrance than a help. Atlantic City is only 1 hour from Philly by car. 1)The easiest & quickest way to get to AC from the airport is to just hire a car service.
